Hi! My name is Deanna Rose-Pehrson.
I have a background in music performance and piano compositions. I have released two CD’s, “Beacon of Light” and “Simplicity.” I have performed at various Art and Wine Festivals and Fairs around the NW and I have also performed at the Portland International Airport. I spent over twenty years performing at special events around Portland and Vancouver.
I started playing piano at age four. I was classically trained and continued to receive private training throughout my life. I have also taught piano off and on part-time for many years.
I received my Associated in Arts and Sciences at Clark College. I finished at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington with a BA in Fine Art Cum Laude. I recorded my freshman release Simplicity in 2004.
Beacon of Light was released in 2007. It was recorded at Electronic Garage Studios with Dave Lee. Beacon of Light is inspirational and a fun leap into digital accompaniment and arrangements. You can download both Simplicity and Beacon of Light from www.iTunes.com and from www.cdbaby.com.
I love playing for the Portland International Airport's volunteer music program. I have also enjoyed playing at various company, wedding, auctions, and parties over the years. Currently, I am a pianist for my church.
I married my husband Gary in 2007. I have three children, a 20 year old son and twins that are seven. I am also blessed with three step daughters, two teens and a six year old who live in Utah. I am blessed with three children on the spectrum, and several nieces and nephews with various challenges such as Bipolar, ADHD, OCD, etc.
I currently teach beginning to intermmediate piano in Vancouver, WA. I love to give the gift of music to children with Autism and Sensory challenges.
I love to compose piano music, hike, paint, knit, travel, play games, and I'm addicted to reading! I also enjoy sharing in my husband's loves of BYU football and golfing.
